Arun Bhatia is the Managing Director of UTC- Climate, Control and Security, India. In this role at United Technologies Corporation, Arun is responsible for promoting Air conditioning and Integrated Building Solution Business (Fire & Security and BMS) with brands like carries, Toshiba Air Conditioning, Chubb & Carrier Race for India region (including Nepal & Sri Lanka).
Prior to this role, Arun was the MD for UTC- Climate, Control and Security Products and carries over 26 years of rich experience in the Building System industry. He started his career with Carrier in 1995 and has worked in leadership roles across HVAC and Refrigeration businesses.
Arun is a thought leader in the field of sustainability and is actively involved with Indian Green Building Council in promoting Green Building Movement in India. He is currently the chairman – Delhi Chapter for IGBC and past chairman for CII Haryana State Council. Arun was also actively involved in the National Building Code revision released by Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS).
A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Arun also has a post graduate diploma in Sales & Marketing.
