Akash Goenka

Akash works with AEEE’s sustainable space cooling coalition initiative. He holds a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from VIT University, India and an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College, UK. Akash trained in sustainable energy technologies and their interactions with economics, environment and policy. He has conducted research on Environmental Vulnerability Index calculator to assess the environmental vulnerability of cities. He has co-authored a unique book ‘Idioms of Sustainability in Ancient Anuradhapura’ with SAARC, on architectural renderings on ancient schemes of energy efficiency and sustainability in the city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. He has also presented research at international conferences in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
